I have a 2002 VW Jetta TDI and am problems with turbo.

Hallo
1.Disconect lower hose from intercooler and oil (from 0,1 liter or more) (sometimes 1-2 liters) comes out, you should not drive it.(car had probably loose power) Change the turbine, oil and oil filter. do not forget to disconect lower hose and let oil drain out. Otherwise when new turbine is instald, the air flow will **** this oil inside the engine and distroy it.
2.your car is not designed to run without turbine and will not work like normal disel.(SDI).
hope it helps

2002 jetta turbo automatic, slips, give it gas when parked until warm then starts to work.why?

change the ATF fluid(automatic transmision fluid) as well as the transmission fillter if that dont help then ur prob might be the clutch bands in ur transmission they do hav a critical size or thikness maby verry worn so when cold they arent expanded enough to make proper contact and when they get warm the xpand just enough to work also check if u chang the fluid ur self amke sure to change the trans oil pan seal!!!! only tourque the bolts to the specs!!! usaly only maby 10-20 foot pounds of force if not u risk fugging and crushing the seal!!!! also seat the pan 1st use 4 or 5 bolts to secure the pan in place do not tighten yet only when uv got all 15 bolts in place do you tourke them an a x and criss cross pattern---DONT OVER TIGHTER and b sure both the pan surface and trans surface ar free of dirt and old gasket(seal) dont ever use seal in a can or tube only real cork or paper gasket mot sealents in a tube dont do very well with trans fluid, and make sure ur transmission dossent need and added friction modifier in the oil
!!! and seeing you got the 1.8 turbo dont hammer the trans so much lol!! but its ok i keep blowing shift forks and syncros on my supra turbo manual trans mission hav a good one

When you get the door open leave it open and open and shut the locks see if its catching the sides any where i think theses are all individual electric motors that open each door the motor that runs this lock may have had it or possibly rusted you could xdisconect it and try cleaning it wd40 ect i think you access it in the boot by removing boot lining probably 1 nut and a wire harness or take the lock off all together the rest of the doors shoukd still work even with this motor off hopevthis helps cheers ivan

Yes - relay 109 is your main power fuse and they're famous for going bad. Read this thread - it's from a TDI website - but it's exactly the same. The TDI guys really know their stuff.
