Unbolt the filter from the bracket, that is a 5/16" machine screw head size, then remove the nylon clips that hold the lines onto the filter, hold a rag over the fuel line when u remove it, it will have about 30 pounds of pressure.

Has quick disconnect fuel filter two types available need to inspect yours. auto parts store sells fuel disconnect tools three types two are plastic and one is pot metal use the metal one. Find the combo that fits your line and push in from the tool side and the filter side. Once the tool comes in contact with the spring it should pull free

First, purchase the replacment filter s that you know what it looks like and obtain wrench sizes accordingly plus one size bigger. Get under truck. Look for gasonlne tank. Follow line until you get to the filter.  Soem recoment disconnecting the battery or fule pump fuse at this point. I have changed them w/o doing so with no dificulity. Swap out filter knowing that their will be fuel leakage from the old filter.

first you gotta find it underneath. its a metal cylinder shaped with two lines going to it, in and out. it is usually held by a big clip to the frame.usually on drivers side between gas tanks and engine. then go to the auto parts store and tell them them yearmake model, and get the gas line removal tool that will fit . unscrew the gas cap so it depressurizes.undo the clips first, then use the tool to slide the lines off the filter each side. a little fuel will leak out so be prepared. then simply put the new filter in the holder and push the lines back . make sure the filter is on the right way, it has an arrow to show flow.
