Sounds like you have a blown head gasket.
be sure engine is cold, open water tank be sure it is full than start car with tank open see if you see bubbles in the tank. If so possible head gasket blown.

Antifreeze is going out but there appears to be no leaks. There is no smoke but the car overheats.

I can almost guarantee you have a blown head gasket. I had all of these symptoms too. Bubbles in the antifreeze resevior when cool, loosing antifreeze when driven and finally smell and white smoke out the exhaust. Even a pressure check of the radiator came out fine. This seems to be a common problem with the 05 Equinox due to aluminum heads. Cost me about $1600 to fix but the new gaskets are supposed to be made to withstand the expanding of the aluminum heads. Good luck!

White smoke coming from tailpipe during cold start from chevy trailblazer 2005 ls

You need to determine if it is indeed smoke or steam. Water condenses in your exhaust when it cools off, when you start it in the morning that water will turn to steam. If it is smoke, it will linger around longer than steam. Coolant in combustion chamber (head gasket) is the most common cause for white smoke. Unless it's an older vehicle with a transmission vacuum modulator with a torn diaphragm, most likely coolant. You can confirm coolant by pulling spark plugs, they will have a crusty whitish/gray build up on the end.

You have a blown head gasket or a cracked head..more than likely just a blown head gasket..you need to have someone run a combustion gas test on the radiator..you are getting raw exhaust pushed back in to the radiator causing it to superheat

2006 chevy equinox overheating sludge in reservor and white smoke from tailpipe . is it headgasket or lower intake

hi.
unfortunately, sludge in the reservoir and white smoke does suggest a blown head gasket.
if the smoke smells sweet, then that will confirm that coolant is being burnt. take the car to a radiator centre for a pressure test, this will test the system and tell you where the problem lies. a basic pressure test should be fairly cheap. some places will do the test free of charge if you ask around. hope this helps

2003 chev silverado truck 5.3 the code im getting is p1258 that means engine over heated and the truck did that so can any one help me

You need to figure out why it overheated. Check the coolant level in the radiator/overflow tank. Thermostat may have stuck closed, the water pump may have failed. If the coolant level is low then add coolant and check it often. If the coolant is up to the right level then I would probably change the water pump and thermostat.

Since the engine has to get pretty hot to set this code, You may have comprimised the head gaskets. Look at the dipstick for any signs of water ( milky oil) and take the cap off where you add oil and look/feel for moisture. If you do see any signs of coolant then you will need to remove the heads. I am not that familiar with the engine, but Chevy uses plastic gaskets for the intake on some engines and they have been known to fail.

possible blown head gasket. Put in gear with your foot on the brake and rev up to see if there is vapor coming out the exhaust. Also remove radiator cap and run engine to see if bubbles come out of the radiator. Either of these would indicate a blown head gasket or possibly a cracked head.

Oxygen sensor

They are all located on you exhaust system. Start from you exhaust manifold and follow the pipes down to the tail pipes . You will see the sensors (4) they are screwed into exhaust pipes and they have wire connections on them (Kinda Looks Like a spark Plug) they wires are unusually colored in white black and grey. Good Luck contact if you need more information
