Trying to change the transmission speed sensor(the one that can be changed by removing the front tire) on 95' cadillac deville

Trying to change one of two transmission speed sensors on 95' cadillac deville(the one outside the transmission) I've been told to take off either of the front tires and its pretty much right there. I've taken both tires off and can't seem to find it. any assistance would be greatly appreciated

The vehicle speed sensor is located on the top of the transaxle on the passengers side. look for wires on top of trans axle on passengers side.if more problems finding it let me know.

I have a 1996 caddy sedan deville which does not seem to go into third gear. I checked the fluid and level is fine but a bit foamy. It has 100k miles on it. Should I change the xmission fluid and filter as...

Changing the fluid and filter will not correct a no upshift issue. The transmission on this car is computer controlled. You should have it scanned for codes. Very common issue on these is the turbine speed sensor fails, which does require removing the transmission to replace.

Front tires leak air daily.

i dont remember the 95 caddy with pressure monitors id say try your valve stems or the valves themselves to make sure that they are tight. replace any stem caps that are missing.

Cadillac Deville 1996 front end waddles at slow speeds.

it sounds like you may have a bad set of wheel bearings on one side or the other.which would mean you have a bad cv joint or one that is going bad. you may want to try to figure out which side the wobble is on and inspect that side.i suspect its going to be the side where you had the problem with the tire.
