Hi first you will need to remove the wiper cowl on the right side there will be a water deflector that may have fallen off (that is like a rubber flap that sits over the heater box check that
if it is ok then the winshield is leaking and will need to be resealed hope this helps you

You may have a leak at the seal of your windshield. Can you find water at the bottom of the windshield inside? I bought a tube of liquid silicone at the auto parts store specifically made for this problem. It's very watery as silicone goes and flows into the voids.
Applied from the outside where the gasket meets the glass. This may work for you. Otherwise you probably need to take it to the auto glass shop.

I would sit in the closed car, and have an assistant LIGHTLY spray water on the outside the WINDSHIELD, STARTING AT THE TOP, while you look for any water intrusion. 90% of the time it will be the w/s, but that other 10% could be the firewall seams, wiring harness, holes, etc. All leaks can be found. Windshield leaks should be sealed professionally. If open firewall seams are located, you can easily repair them using the proper waterproof sealants. Hope this helps

2010 Scion xD a/c raining under dash on passenger side

It almost has to be a drain problem.
The HVAC box is supposed to be a sealed unit and any moisture inside is supposed to drain onto the ground under the car.
If you had wet carpets you could have excessive moisture inside the passenger compartment, but the ac unit should still pull the moisture out of the air and drain it onto the ground.
Is it possible the box is not sealed and the excessive water is leaking into the compartment before it gets to the drain tube ?

Chev Impala Air ducting leaks water to the passinger side floor compartment when it rains

Open the hood, remove 2 plastic pins & cover just below the windshield on passenger side. There should be a preformed long rubber gasket that diverts any water away from the cabin filter (regularly replaced) found underneath in the compartment & sometimes the rubber becomes dislodged when changing the cabin filter.

Leak onto floor behind the glove box, also making defrost slow to work.

i'm thinking this leak may actually be caused by a rusted out spot or hole on the hood of the vehilce, or by the windshield seal coming loose allowing water to enter..

if the cars antenna is above that area where the leak is it can also come from that..

basically it will enter the hood, run down the sides and gather on the floor under the glove compartment...

you said its only when its raining right ?? so its definitely a leak.

Water is leaking from under glove compartment

water dripping from under the glove box area is usally a sign of water in the heating ducts. water runs down the windshield and goes under the cowel, then instead of draining, it some how enters the air intake for your heating system. Take off your wipers, and remove your cowel, you will be able to see the air intake (on the passangers side) and the reason why the water is being directed into it.
