Question about 2002 Ford Taurus
I believe its 4 1\2, so put in 4 1\2 and then start it -shut it off then wait for a few minutes then check it,then add a little at a time to fill up if needed,DO NOT OVER FILL IT,not even a little bit,the seals will eventually start leaking, and it will build up with carbon in the intake system.

I believe it takes a total of 5 1/2 - 6 qts. make sure to use the synthetic blend it calls for. u have the same engine in your car that I have in mine. should take 5-20 weight. if you go to Autozone . com it you can get all the spects you need for your fluids and type for this car.
