The signal lights of my Chevy Malibu -2003 work fine at the begining of motion but stop few minutes later. This happens all the times. Does Engine warmup has anything to do with it?

Kemo68 90% of the time when the turn signal keeps clicking as your driving down the road. Turn signal and hazard switch if located in the dash. The hazard switch & turn signal are on that switch together in dash. $18.00 for switch and dealer will tell you this is a comom thing that happens in the Malibu. That fixed mine the first time.

What this means that either you have a short in the wire harness going to the turnsignal/dimmer switch assembly . or the switch contacts inside the dimmer switch itself are shorting. this would be a good place to check for the intermitant problem

My 2002 chevy malibu's radio seems to be shorting out, the radio will work fine but randomly the sound shuts off the radio still shows the radio station and even says which artist is playing but there...

I'd suggest using the balance and fade controls to cut out each speaker one by one. to possibly determine if you have shorted speaker or speaker wiring. As far as the turn signal clicking noise, the hazard switch is the actual flasher unit for the turn signals, and could be the culprit, but the most likely cause is the turn signal switch itself. It is usually caused by corrosion across the contacts, which can be cleaned out fairly easily, but more typically, the switch is just replaced

Turn signal keeps clicking randomly Pontiac grand am 2002

This can either be caused by the hazard switch located above the radio or the turn signal /multfunction switch on the steering column. When it is doing this try wiggling the turn signal switch and see if it stops. If it does stop the issue is most likely in the turn signal switch.

2003 chevy malibu was going down the road car stared slowing down moter running but no throttle would it be throttle positioning censor or fuel pump

test the tps with either a meter or scan tool. You should see volts between .10v to 5v. the higher the volts the more open the throttle. Test the MAF sensor and look for stable volt signal by taping the meter while its probed. The signal should raise apon throttle without lag. like the tps. idle might be at 0.9 volts and 1.5 volts at 2k rpm etc.

Turn signal keep clicking randomly 03 malibu

To diagnose: Does the clicking resume to normal when the turn signal or hazrds on? Then:
Multi function switch is damaged.(seems to be common) This unit consists of the two control arms(turn signals and wiper control) on either side of the steering column. It is easily replaced. Cost, app. 200 from GM or 160 aftermarket. GM product is TRW assembled in Mexico. Aftermarket is made in Taiwan. Firstly:

Disconnect battery.

There are 3 #20 Torx screws under the steering column shroud. Remove them and carefully separate shroud and remove. It takes a bit to worm the shroud around the column tilt lever. I didn't check but you may not even have to remove the lower section.

There is 1 #20 torx screw on top holding the MFS in place. It also has 2 guide pins on the bottom. Remove the screw and disconnect the 3 electrical pin connectors. Now remove and replace with new unit. I did notice the steel pin that operates the horn(it pushes in and out and sits against a rotating plate in front of the steering wheel) was a bit rough so I smoothed it out with a small file. Now put everything back in place.

Anyway, that should take care of the clicking. It worked for me.
