I would first check to see that the fans are there and they were not stolen or something .... then the fuses ... then the relays ... verify there is power to the fans ...

Acura '99 TL with a heating problem. New

Is this a heater problem or an engine overheating problem?? If it is an engine overheating problem do you have white smoke out the exhaust which would indicate a head gasket leak into the combustion chamber. You could also have compression gases leaking intro the cooling system. Is the thermostat the correct one and if so is it installed correctly with the sensor/wax pellet part towards the engine and it there is a pilot/bleed hole is it facing up. You could also have an ignition timing problem or have a lean running engine and/or a plugged exhaust system

2000 Acura TL overheating at low speeds with A/C on

Before ordering or installing fans I would buy and change your Coolant Temperature Senor on top of the engine block. It plugs in to the ECU and tells the fan when to kick the fans on. If that does not work you also have a temperature on the bottom of the radiator, known as your fan switch.

check tempature switch for the cooling fans or maybe a bad fan relay check all cooling fan fuses, relays,if that doesn't work the theres a sensor on the engine that tells them when to come on

Make sure the electric fan is coming on with the compressor...If not that will happen. May be a bad fan relay.

Cooling fan for acura tl 2000 does not work

If you can locate the temperature switch, looks like a large bolt head with 2 wires on it, bridge the wires on it, and this should make the fan work. If the fan works then this switch is faulty. If the fan doesn't then it could be the fuse, or a broken wire.
The fan switch is either on the radiator or on the thermostat housing.
If you can get to it easy, short across with a screwdriver.

the conclusive evidence for fan clutch is this:
if the engine temperature begins to drop while the car is moving, you've got a bad fan clutch. Is the radiator clogged with deposits?
