If you believe it surrounds the battery clean the terminals that are attached to the battery and see what happens. Usually the car teminal
metal does get weak and needs to be replaced this will prevent the car from getting the voltage you need remember that the car battery needs to be placed with your terminal in order for the car to get the correct voltage. Also check the battery voltage that reads 12.5 or around that number with a voltage meter. If you still have problems clean the grounds to your battery. My suggestion is letting your car warm up so it will prevents the car to force the engine and the battery and it's component's to work so much harder when driving. If that that is not your problem then check one of the following your fuse, starter and voltage when you turn it on and its ground also its the stick that is good and greased to give you smooth start, turn your car over with a wrench to see if its locked if so a chain is broken, anti theft light if their
no way in fixing it this is when the light just stays on then you need to replace the component it self or the unit like the dash board, the spark plugs the spark plug wires might be warn out. If much deeper try watching videos in how too fix for the alternator or ignition coils to give you a brighter look.

I jumped car off it crunk on its own fora day, then batt went dead again, this time it won't jump off. It wants to crank but won't turn over.

not sure what you said but.
seems the battery is discharging,? 12.6v is fully charged,
own a voltmeter?
try a good loaned battery , does it start the car,?
i think you meant?
i can jumper cable start my car at any time. (off another running car)
but after running my car, the battery discharges and it will not crank at all. right?
this means ,the charging system on your car is bad.
if the starter cranks great, then the engine is flooded or is in great need of a tune up (sparkplugs etc)
if flooded try the super secret in the op guide, crank with throttle wide open , this magic trick cuts all fuel injection allowing the flooding
to purge away, and eventual starting.
my guess 2 is the car wont start, so you crank the battery flat
you jumper start it and it runs. (luck)
then day 2, same deal cranks ok but wont start.. ever tune up the engine?

Car won't start and arms alarm when I turn the ignition

Dead battery armed the security system. Remove the battery cable let the system reset. Charge the battery. Use the key to unlock the door instead of the keyless entry. This resets the alarm once the battery is charged.

The car was running fine one day then the next day it would not start. We tried jumping it thinking the battery might be dead and it still would niot start. The car has power until we take the jumper...

Sounds like you have a toasted battery or alternator. Have you performed a load test on the battery? Have you tried to charge the battery? First remove the battery and charge it externally from the vehicle. If the battery won't hold a charge, or won't hold a charge of 12 volts, replace it. Once you have the vehicle started, test the operation of the alternator. It should be putting out at least 13 volts back to the battery to keep it charged - if it is putting less than 13 volts or more than 16 volts, replace the alternator.

Hi there !

I won't say its an alternator problem because the alternator only charges the battery when its on, And it should start with the jump cables even if the battery and the alternator are bad. your Issue is not clear. Does the car start when you jump it ?

My engine won"t turn over on my 97 cadillac

It could be the starter. It could be a bad battery cable connection. Have you tried jump starting the engine. If it starts, then most likely it's to do with the battery or charging system.

I have a ford f350 duelly and it wont start but it will turn over i have jump started it and it started and now i have had it pluged in for 2 days and it still wont start plz help me figure it out

If its a diesel then you may need to get a spray can of ether starting fluid. Spray this directly into your air filter housing for approximatly 3-5 seconds. Try it once then try to start your truck. if it doesnt work then have someone else spray it in while you turn it over. However your problem maybe that you dont have enough charge in your batteries to completely turn your engine over to get full compression. in this case charge your batteries and try again.
