Check in this order: 1)fuse box underneath steering wheel, 2)check both headlamps be sure to test on high and low beam, 3)use current tester just before the switch to make sure there power, 4)test wire prior to switch then all way to bulbs checking for power. replace bad sections as needed or repair wire.

Why wont my 98 Explorer headlights shut off?

Headlight switch? Headlights don't use the fuse panels. Is there a delayed off for the headlights? If so, this module might be defective.

Headlights wont come on. talighghts markers etc. all seem to work but headlights wont come on.

Check the electical components or it could be a bad fuse or the wiring harness that feeds power to the headlight may be corroded or shorted out. And the headlight switch that allows you to change between the low and high beams may be broken.

My headlights wont stay on, and now they wont work at all

might be the headlight switch, check to see if you have power at your bulbs with the headlights on if you don't check headlight fuses and relay.

After turning ignition, only parking lights work. low beam headlights were replaced recently. parking lights wont even turn off. headlights

I had an S-70 with the same problem what happens is the headlight switch tabs that hol it together broke and the switch was slightly separated and connection was not there for the headlights and also check the high beam see if headlights come on i dont think it is a relay or fuse??? proballally the headlight switch and easy to replace you even can use one from an 850 model
