SOURCE: car brake lights won t turn off when car is shut down 1996 Honda Odyssey

It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.

SOURCE: ac compressor clutch relay 1991 honda accord

Difficult to describe, but I will give it a try.
Inside the driver's side fender, close to the front of the car, there is a bracket that is held in place by one bolt, but which has a short horizontal bar as part of it which has two large clips encircling two cylinderical devices which have wires clipped into them at the bottoms. The one closest to the front (radiator) is the compressor clutch relay. The other one is the condenser fan relay.
Hope this helps you find it.

Automatic transmission does not go out of park. change brake switch no help. need to find interlock control unit. could it be the neutral safety switch.

The transmission is locked into park by a solenoid activated little pin that stops the shifter from moving. It is attached to the shifter area under the console. You say you replaced the brake light switch, but did you check the brake lights to see if they work?

1992 Honda Accord having problems with the shift lock. Must put key in key port by shifter to get out of park. But now, after disconnecting and reconnecting battery to change headlamp, it simply won't...

The neutral safety switch at your shift lock needs to be replaced. It is broken so the circuit loop for the starter is open. Therefore no solenoid click to engage the starter. Part is not expensive around $45, but labor may cost more. Here is how it looks: feb3fbc.jpg

My 1993 honda accord is stuck in park. i have to use the shift lock to release it

First of all you should check all your fuses and relays because they contain circuits that are not "always" marked within. Your shifter is held in place by one of two systems. !. there is an electrical solenoid connected to the brakelight switch which releases the shifter "only" while you press the brake, for safety reasons of course. 2. the same action is controlled by a cable driven link to the steering column. Your's is most likley the first on so, check all your fuses and relays. Then you'll have to remove the center console and look around that area to find if the functionallity of that release system is at fault.Good luck my friend, Dana

Loczation of the main relay 1992 honda accord with a 5 spd.

Check under the hood, there is a cover that is labeled, pop off the cover to expose the relays, there are also some at the fuse block located under the dash on the driver side.

Inatallation 92 honda accord power steering pump

Hey, here's the procedure, disable air bag, if equipped w/ one, disconnect the pump return hose from the reservoir and place the end in a large container. Plug the port in the reservoir. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times, until fluid stops running from the hose. Turn off engine immediately. Re-attach hose. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses at the pump. Remove the drive belt. Remove the mounting bolts/nuts and remove pump.
Install in reverse order. Adjust belt tension, fill ps reservoir and bleed any air from the system (to bleed air from system, fill reservoir, start engine and allow to idle, turn wheel from side to side all the way several times. Shut off, fill if necessary.
. Tighten bolts to : Thru bolt 30 ft lbs., mounting nut 16 ft lbs.
