SOURCE: Hyundai Sonata 2006 - Check Engine light came on.

"Fuel system too lean at idle". It's an air/fuel ratio that is not correct, possibly a vacuum leak somewhere. Or a leaky exhaust pipe. Could be related to intake manifold gasket. Somewhere, air is getting into the engine.

I suggest taking it back to the dealer under warranty. I think Hyundai is 10yr./100k for the original owner. 5yr./50k if not. Ask first if covered, and ask why not id not covered.

My 2005 Hyundai Sonata GL started displaying code P2422, P0122 and P0183. I just recently purchased this vehicle. A 60000 mile service was completed late last week. I presume I will have to bring the...

You never checked it for codes before you bought it
or just don't know anything about codes?

They have been on all vehicles for 32 years

Those codes all all over the place

No use to me unless I had diagnostic manuals for your car

The shop will figure all that out

Most likely someone bought it & drove it,that's all

Codes are related to faults or problems, nothing to do with
service

Check engine light has come on,what should I look at?

Hi

You need to take your vehicle into a shop that can scan for a trouble code. If the engine light is flashing you should have your vehicle towed in.

Radio won't work after battery change in my 2005 Hyundai Sonata. The trunk light is also on on the dash. Thanks!

In the newer vehicles most of the time the stereo has a security code that has to be entered in order for it to work after power has been disconnected. That code should be in your manual. Hope this helps!
