Alot of vehicles have their starter relay (solenoid) bolted right on the starter. Follow the big red wire from your battery right to it.

2005 pontiac vibe new starter new battery and still won't start and won't engage the fly wheel. It does nothing. 1 click.

Check the 30 amp MAIN fuse.

Is the security light flashing?
If not, could be neutral safety switch.

I would probe the ST relay socket to see if anti-theft is turning on the starter cut relay. You could also probe that relay socket.
