Question about Chevrolet Cars & Trucks
Under the seat there should be 2 bolts (sometimes the factory didn't install them. the seat hangs on 3 hooks. push in on the top of the seat about 5" from the side and lift up. center next. then the other side.

you have to take off the steering wheel.if you dont have the right tools to do so i would not attempt it.the turn signal switch has to be moved it just pulls over the end of the column.then there is a torx head screw at about 1 oclock in the column that has to be removed.and the ign.just pulls out.the dimmer switch is kinda tricky.a locksmith usually dont charge to much to do this job.it would probably cost you more to buy the tools you need to do it yourself

Most cars that do not have bolts are hook at the front end of the seat. You need push down really hard on the front end of the seat and pull the seat forward and up. This will unhook the latch. Good Luck

I agree, either the wheel bearing or the ring bearing in the rear end. My Plymouth Fury III (that is going back a bit) had a cracked ring bearing and roared loudly.
