Question about 2002 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Our 2003 V6 3.0 Escape started giving us trouble about 3 months ago. It completely stalled while driving on the road. We took it into the dealer and they diagnosed the problem as a bag idle air control valve. Seemed fine for a few weeks and then the engine light AND fuel door open lights came on again and stalled. Took it back to Ford and they said the computer needed to be reprogrammed. Now it seems even worse. We have a hard time starting sometimes (just the click, click, click and then nothing but will eventually start on 3rd or 4th attempt) and now the car dies out while driving and the anti-theft light comes on. Help! My husband wants to go out and buy a new car because he's afraid we will never find out what's wrong with it!
As the post said earlier they went to a ford shop.... I suggest to have your vehicle inspected elsewhere. maybe have your o rings replaced and your fuel system cleaned.
