If the climate control is on "auto" there is a delay before starting. For 15 minutes it is either freezing cold outside or needs repair. Depending where you live. Well anyway a way around the delay is to go to a manual setting and the system should start blowing right away.
Of course if it hasn't warmed up yet the air will be cold!!
Track the temperature gauge on the dash. As the temperature lift's off and approaches normal range heat should be coming from the vents,
New cars that are super efficient are very slow to heat up. The old gas gushers had plenty of heat to spare
This can be very bad. First thing is to check the water level in the battery immediately. Second is to get a new voltage regulator. On your car I believe the regulator is internal to the alternator.
heat not blowing or not getting hot? if it's not blowing it may be the blower motor going out but if its just taking a while to get hot it could be the duct exchanger which could be a vaccume leak or you could be low on engine coolant, if the engine coolant is low the heater core doesn't get enough coolant to warm the air that passes thru it.
If your delay module is working correctly, you should be able to turn your headlights off first, then shut the engine off and by then, all lights will go off. never need to use my delay unit always shut headlights off then the engine.
fault in the timer unit of the delay power off timer. The timer has to be replaced as the delay is expected to be about only 15 seconds to fade off. check the unit and if the unit is accessible for repair open to find some faulty capacitors.
sound like a ground wire loose bad connection.if it comes and go if no gauges windows or ac / heat not working. check relays and fuses. it could also be body control module.
