Question about 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora
I own a 96 Olds Aurora that developed an electrical problem. After setting in the driveway untouched for days, the parking lights, tail lights, instrument panel, and so on began flashing. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it a day latter thinking that the computers would reset themselves, but the the problem continued. To make matters worse, now the car is turning over, but will not run. All fuses have been checked but appear to be fine. At this time, I'm thinking that the problem is deriving from one of the computers or from one of the numerous sensors or modulators throughout the car. I hate to put a lot of money in this car or junk it since it was running excellent when I parked it. Please Help! ! !
OK it sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm inside this vehicle and no remotes or siren (It was likely in the valet mode and you may have never known there was one ... as the dealerships tend to do so that they won't have to warrantee them) I would say that is why the lights are flashing and it won't start ... If I'm correct .... remove it ...
