The Crankshaft Position Sensor is located directly next to the starter.

  1. On 2.4L SRT-4 remove the lower inner cooler hose from the metal tube.
  2. Remove the Structural Collar
  3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector to the crankshaft position sensor.
  4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the sensor
Reverse Order to install except note that:

Use a twisting motion when installing the sensor.

SOURCE: looking for location of crankshaft sensor on a 96 ford f150 5.0

YOUR ENGINE USES A DISTRIBUTOR STATOR TO SENSE CRANK POSITION, IT IS INSIDE THE DISTRIBUTOR, MAKE SURE U REPLACE THE TFI IGNITION MODULE WHILE U ARE IN THERE, USE ONLY FORD PARTS, THE AFTERMARKET FAIL VERY QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE REALLY WEIRD PROBLEMS. SEE PHOTO

I change the temperature sensor but the needle does not move how can I change the needle? This is a 95 ford Econoline 350

you have probably been misinformed. The needle on the temperature gauge is controlled by the temperature SENDER unit ( not the temperature SENSOR unit) The sender unit is a single wire unit that is a resistance unit affected by heat of the coolant, The hotter the coolant the less resistance the higher the reading
The temperature sensor unit is a 2 wire unit that tells the ECM when to switch on the fan, when to go into limp mode if overheating and when to adjust the air/fuel mixture as the coolant warms up

I am having issues getting my 1994 Ford Econoline Van to start. I have replaced the sparkplugs and the starter is ok. I have also checked the fuel pump and it is normal. could the issue be with the ecu?

Could be an air fault aswell, not getting enough or maybe to much air to start check all your pipes and air mass meter for any rips in pipes or a dirty sensor.

Could also be the crankshaft sensor.
