Were is the bands and clutch pack adjustment located on a 1995 toyota camry v6

from memory there is no external adjustments for the clutches or bands sounds like a fluid pressure problem poss the pump or a valve problem it may need a overhall or a reconditioned gearbox

Changed transmission fluid on crv now car wont start

might be that you accidentally disconnected the crank sensor close to the transmission, this gives a no start condition without a check engine light on most cars...

Transmission

Did it do it under hard acceleration? or just a normal take off. I have heard of engine mounts or tranny mount bushings getting old (not mileage old but just aging) causing a thump or clunking sound in between shifting. What happens is the tranny actually hits the undercarriage of the vehicle during high torque situations such as shifting gears. I have also seen the mount retaining nut back off of the mounts and the only thing holding everything in place is gravity. Another possibility is drive shaft u-joint problems, but if it were it would probably be making the noise more often. I dont think there is actually anything wrong with the transmission itself as usually when they go bad they dont magically get better. Hope this helps. Good luck!

New battery, starter, turn key and car won't start

Well it sounds as if you have power to everything basically but when you turn the key nothing at all happens. If this is the case there are MANY things that can cause this. Have you tried taking the gear shifter out of park and then putting it back into park. You could be dealing with a faulty nuetral safety switch or park neutral position switch which is located on the transmission. If this is faulty and thinks that it is still in gear then you will get the same symptoms are you are describing. The first picture below is where it is located on the transmission. There are some testing procedures for this switch. You may also be dealing with the starter relay itself. The 2nd picture is where it is located under the hood of the vehicle and the last picture is a closer look at lts location. Again there are some testing procedures for it as well. You could be looking at a bad connection or even the ignition switch could be bad. If you need those testing procedures, you can reply here or email me directly at csautomotivecars@att.net and I will be happy to give them to you. Hope this helps....

1994 shift only when overdrive is off.

first thing to check is transmission oil level and quality. If that is fine than your looking at either a valve body problem (valve body is what controls the selection of gears) or possibly a problem with the bands on the planetary gear set, they can be tightened in certain models. However i dont think it is the bands.
Does the overdrive only engage 4th gear? or does it feel like the gear ratios are different between overdrive and normal before the problem happened? some overdrive buttons engage final gear and some do as much as change gear ratios like in a cvt (contantly variable transmission) and some just change the timing in the gear changes to provide more rpm/power.
My best guess is that the valve controlling the overdrive in the valve body has failed and therefor you dont get a response from the transmission (i.e no gear shifting when overdrive is selected)

Starting

Sounds like the safety neutral switch may be defective. If it gets out of adjustment or fails completely, the car will not start. Sorry, I would have to look at it to know, but some are located on the transmission and some are at the gear shift. Have the switch checked to insure the right voltage is getting to it. If the switch thinks it's in a gear other than park or neutral it will not start or turn over.

2000 ford windstar will not turn on

when u changed the ECM did you have it matched to the PCM or immobiliser ? , normally these need a Pc to reset these to the motor
you should have a small and large power lead going to the starter motor, when you turn key to crank position the small feed on starter should power up,if not check that happens at the ign switch, or it may be if your car is an auto the switch in the gear selector may have gone , or if manual the clutch pedal switch ,

Cv joints/tranny

Hate to the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like one of the gears in the transmission is shot (namely the ring and pinion gear.) One thing to check and see is to look under the hood and look at where the CV joints enter the transmission. Have someone put it into gear while you look. See if the output shafts of the transmission is turning, but the inner CV joint is not.

Much as I hate to say it, you picked a bad car for a beginning driver. Parts are expensive for this car, and sometimes hard to come by.
