Question about Cars & Trucks

Why would you want a kill switch ? The PCM supply's B+ voltage to energize a relay that turns on the fuel pump. When the key is first turned to on the PCM - engine computer will energize fuel pump relay for two seconds to prime the system . It won't turn it on again untill you crank the engine . ( Turn key to start ) An that is only if it sees a RPM signal from the crank sensor .
