I wonder if you solved the problem with the Space Wagon as I have a 2000 Carisma with exactly same problem. Any hint?

Hi, I have a Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis Exceed 1998 (4g64) and recently changed the engine. Prior to changing the engine the car had a shudder when driving approximately 70kmph. This appears to be caused by some sort of misfire as one can see the ref counter dropping and picking up slowly. After changing the engine I still have exactly the same problem which tells me it is not the engine. I took it in and they tested it with one of those plug in machines but to no avail as it did not pick up any faults. Due to the slight drop of the needle prior to the car shuddering, I cleaned out the injectors but this does not appear to be a part of the problem. This usually occurs more often when the engine is warmer and not when one start up and drive. Any ideas what can cause this?
