Turn the seat belt buzzer off

How do you turn the seat belt buzzer off for both the drivers and passenger. I've tried the Scion tc solution, but it does not give the "b-on".
Holding the odometer button in and turning the key on then buckling the drivers seat does give a "S-on". Toggling this to "S-off" does not seem to do anything.

Usually what I do is reroute the seatbelt behind my seat, or buckle the seat belt prior to sitting. Unless you want to rewire the sensor with a toggle switch if you have any electrical knowledge. Hope this helps.

I drive a 2011 Scion TC. Will the passenger airbag deploy in a collision if someone is sitting in passenger seat but does not trigger the sensor to say airbag on

I would say no. There is a recommended weight for passengers for this reason. If there is an issue with your SRS system, I recommend getting to a qualified technician soon.

Seat belt sensor goes on and off as your driving with all seat belts on

Look for garbage in the drivers seat buckle.

Make sure there is no heavy weight in the passenger seat.

You likely need a seat buckle, but could be wiring.

Lights on power window is blinking and passenger window will not lower from the drivers seat window panel. I have a Scion TC 2006.

First check to ensure the window locks are not on. If they are on simply turn them off and that should resolve your problem. However, I know there are situations in which if you had the battery disconnect it will cause this. Consequently disconnecting the battery can also fix the situation and then follow the below instructions. Or try the passenger side window switch first.

  1. Reconnect the battery terminal or fuse.

  2. Turn ON the ignition switch.

  3. Lower the window of each door halfway or more with the power window switch.

  4. Then close the window fully with the power window switch.

  5. Do not release the switch for at least 2 seconds after the window is fully closed.

Thanks

Turn off Scion tC seat belt alarm

Buzzer Reminder Cancel Mode Setting
1) Set the LCD on the combination meter to the ODO display.
2) Press and hold the TRIP meter reset knob for ten seconds or more within six seconds of turning the
ignition switch to the ON position. Fastening the drivers seat belt while holding the knob cancels the
buzzer reminder.
3) When this occurs, the LCD displays -OFF. The buzzer reminder can be switched between ON and
OFF each time the TRIP meter reset knob is pressed. The LCD displays -ON or -OFF according to the buzzer reminder ON/OFF status. The display changes to the ODO or TRIP meter if the knob
is not pressed for ten seconds.
4) Performing steps 1) and 2) again when the buzzer reminder is off exits cancel mode.
5) The cancel mode will also exit when the battery or combination meter connector is reconnected.
