SOURCE: replace speakers on Ford Explorer Sport Trac

The front and rear door panels must be removed. The interior door handle will have to be removed, and the power window switch will also have be removed. This is held in by metal clips that secure it to the door panel. Do not be afraid to use a little force to get under the switch panel, and pry it from the door panel. Once you have all accessories off of the door panel, look for what may appear to be "plugs" in the door panel. These may conceal the presence of a screw. Also, check around the interior door pull for screws or "plugs". When this is done, use a medium to large screwdriver, or a trim removal tool, and start prying the door panel away from the door. Start at the bottom, and work your way around the door, until you get about 2-3 inches from the top of the panel where it meets the window. When you are at this point front and rear, simply lift up on the door panel, and it should come off easily. Once the panel is removed, you will easily find the speakers.

On a 2007 ford explorer sport trac how to change the fuel pump

The "quick disconnect" fittings for the fuel lines are usually problematic to disconnect unless you use this tip. The fittings get full of dirt over time. First, use compressed air to blow out the dirt. Then spray the connection with penetrating oil. Now insert your disconnect tool and it will come apart much easier. It's also easier to disconnect all the hoses & electrical connectors after dropping the tank down about 6 to 12 inches. Below is a video which shows how to do this job. Do yourself a favor. When you re-install the tank, apply anti seize compound to the threads of the mounting bolts. That way, if you ever have to remove it again in the future, those bolts will come out easily.

Shock Absorber replacement 2002 Explorer Sport Trac

These are just regular shocks and not struts so they should come out with just common tools. You may need to soak the fasteners in penetrating oil for a while or, use heat tget the fasteners to break loose from the corrosion.
