I was able to determine if you move the inside door handle toward the front of the car, then you could remove the door panel. However, it takes a little force to pot out the plastic clips, but if you work around the outside by appling pressure with a thin tool, such as a putty knife it will pot out.
My problem was a small yellow plastic part that connects the outside and inside door handle rods was broken.
So I plan to replace the part and see if that fixes the provlem. If so I can save over $340 dealer repair costs.

well to get the door open you have to get the panel off first remove the assist grip and the pull strap ure ganna need a 10mm socket then pry around the panel and pull it off carefully watch for clips that may have fall off there should be 11 clips once you get the panel off you shoul be able to open the door. GOOD LUCK!! hope thats usefull

Also - check for a metal tab inside the door release that can be bent to offer more "springing" action to pop the door open when the lever is pulled.

Hold the door handle in the open position while using a bent coat hanger on the door catch lever.Sometimes a flathead screwdriver works to pry the door catch as well. Good luck, keep me posted.

SOURCE: Hood latch is pulled open
Have one person pull on the latch inside and the other person pull up on the hood (sometimes depending may have to use a thin screwdriver to pry up carefully not to chip the paint). Once open lube the hood latch under the hood with wd-40. Make sure the latch inside is still connected to the wire.
