Question about 1986 Subaru Gl 2 Door
Bought car and windows did not work @ all, not even the sunroof, thought it might be a blown fuse, but looked under dash and there doesn't appear to be a blown fuse. Is the power window fuse in the motor area? I took off the door panel to look inside and the switch that is normally connected to the driver side window buttons was not connect. I tried to connect it but nothing happened. Please can anyone help me in fixing the windows??

Hello ed.... The serpentine belt or one of the pulleys that it turns is making that annoying sound. Carefully inspect the belt using a flashlight to illuminate any rips or tears, and inspect each of the pulleys looking for grease or heat marks.
Often, the belt has to be replaced and when that is being done, each pulley can be closely examined for wear and tear, even being frozen up. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
