Open the hood and locate the single Phillips head screw at the top of the corner light assembly. remove the screw and pull the corner light out. Check and replace the bulb if necessary and reinstall assembly. The assembly has an alignment dowel that has to go in first then push the assembly in and replace the screw.

How do you change the front parking light bulb on a 2008 toyota tacoma

if you can not access or see the bulb under the hood in the corner at the fender or inside of fender you will have to remove the headlight assembly and all car makers are making changing bulbs a pain. if you do have to remove the headlight assembly then the steps per repair manual are to remove the grille, bumper cover, bumper filler.believe me there are a lot of customers that wonder why us technicians have to charge so much just to put a bulb in but we did not design the car and it is crazy what you see now days.........good luck and i hope this will help and if i can give any more details let me know......the bulb will twist to remove when you get to it.........let me know how you come out with the project.......

I have a toyota 2002 tacoma the ashtray light burned out,how do i get the ashtyay out so i can r&r the bulb?

Usually there is some sort of storage under the ashtray that you can reach your hand under and feel for the clips that hold it in. If its completely surrounded by a molding you'll have to remove it by applying gentle pressure at the corners of the molding to pop the clips. That type is usually held in by a couple of screws or bolts. There will also be a small electrical clip you'll probably have to undo to pull it out far enough.

Light is out in the dashboard

Remove the screws at the top of the black fascia that is in front of the clear plastic cluster lens

Pull the fascia off

Remove the 4 screws from each corner of the instrument cluster

Pull the cluster out, unplug all of the wire connectors

Do not disassemble the cluster; no need.

The bulbs are accessible at the rear of the cluster; twist to remove the bulb holders

Reassembly is easy, the connectors only fit one way.

Hope this helps.
Thnaks for choosing FixYa
