Spray some penetrating oil on it. Let it sit over night. I use a Locking extension with a spark plug socket. That way the socket doesn't pull off the extension. It might also come out easier if the engine is warm.

Have you tried a plug wrench or just a socket? if both or one you may need to seek a professional because it could be cross threaded and if you get it out you will ruin the new one if you dont rethread it. hope this helps

You may have a coil failure or spark plug failure on #3. Swap coil and plug of cyl#2 with cyl#3 and see if problem moves to cyl#2. If so, it will be a plug or coil. I wouls recommend changing both

I would check the valves for number 6. If one or both are burned, stuck or out of adjustment it would cause your problem. If a cam lobe for that cylinder is burned or badly worn it could be the culprit.

How do I change the center sparkplug on 2001 chevy blazer

The best possible way to replace the center spark plug or number 3 plug is to jack the front end up so the wheel's are off the ground and go through the l/f wheel well splash shield to gain access to plug and wire. You will most definately need a double jointed 5/8 spark plug socket which can be purchased at autozone, pepboy's, etc. for about 8 dollars. To aide in installing it I suggest you use a piece of 3/8th's fuel line to start the spark plug by shoving the end of the plug into the fuel hose and twisting it into the cylinder head. I suggest you turn plug into cylinder head as far as you can go until you can put the socket back on it.
