SOURCE: 97 Land Cruiser Oil Leak,Rear Seal?

sounds like your lower gasket is shot, and while under pressure its slowly leaking through a cracked gasket try getting gasket sealent and put on seal crack let it sit for a day or 2 it should obsorb in and fix the gasket that should probably do the trick

SOURCE: I am looking to buy

Could be quite costly. Especially the rear main seal on the engine. You have to take the trans out to even get to it. I would look for something else with less problems to buy.

SOURCE: oill leak 2001 grand am slight looks like is

your going to have to spray a can of degreaser on everything that has oil on it,spray that off with the water hose ,let it dry for a while then start the car and watch for leaks,a hoist would be a great advantage here,it could be a valve cover leak running down engine, then the wind going under your car while driving blows it every where,on a front seal in the tranny, what fluid are you low on would be a good direction to go first.

SOURCE: 2003 Toy Tacoma transmission pan have a gasket

There is a gasket supplied when you buy the transmission filter for all transmissions that your vehicle would have came with. You don't want to be using that stuff on a transmission pan, as a replacement for a gasket. I would wonder if the filter was changed?

1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera leaks oil on back side of motor. Where are the possible locations of this leak?

that all depends on how high the leak comes from, it could be from the intake manifold gasket if its high up on the motor,, a little lower would be around the bearing seals , and lower yet could be the pan gaskets ,, keep in mind that a lot of wind is generated when the motor is running at high speed, and a leak from the front of the motor could be blown to the back very easily.

Where is the cam shaft sensor

Hello,

The crankshaft position sensor on a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera is located inside the engine compartment. On the Ciera's bottom of the engine block is the oil pan. The crankshaft sensor is on the side of the oil pan.

Take care.

Stalls when hot

Try a crank sensor. It's just above the oil pan center between the engine and transmission. Look and see if the old one is cracked.
