Question about 2001 Toyota Corolla
(!) symbol on dash came on briefly. my manual says that means the parking brake is on, but I've also heard it's a tire pressure problem. Which is it?
The owners manual lost? its there
read it again. it even has photos of all symbols.
here it is,, just READ it.
if it is brakes, then check the brake fluid level, first. as it says.

You cannot "disable" the TPWS. Also, when you replace sensors, they need to be programmed to the TPWS computer.

This is for tire pressure. Tires on the truck must have dropped below 30 PSI. Air them up and check the spare tire pressure and the light should go out. :)

You have a low tire. Toyota Solaras and other Toyotas have tire sensor monitors. Go to a gas station and check the air on all of your tires including the spare. Once you get to the recommended pressure, you should be fine.

that symbol is for your tire preasure, its telling you that one of your tires are low, check all tire preasures, you can set to32 psi or look in manually sometimes they have you set them at 28psi but i always go to 32 psi. anyway theres a button on the lower left of steering wheel to reset or drive a few miles.also check your spare, hope this helps.

Hello. Welcome to FIxYa. Please allow us to assist you.
The ( ! ) light is your Low TIre Pressure warning light. This indicates that you have a low tire, or combination of tires that are not at the factory specified inflation presure..
We would recommend that you get the tire pressures inflated to the factory specs; the specs are on the driver side door opening area
