I have a 96 Pontiac GP with a 3.1 I would like to know what other 3.1 GM motors that interchange with my 3.1 I want to stay with my 3.1

96 to 99 Is good, 3.1 or 3.4 are both the same. You can go up to 04 or 05. You will have to change out brackets and sensor. But the engine is the same.

Wat other make or model of cars alternator will interchange with a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix gt

Most any other GM cars of the same body style and engine. Better yet, just call your nearest Salvage-Yard. They should definitely know. You need to have your vehicle-identification number (VIN) with you when you call.

Awd disabled 2005 buick rendesvous

It is the AWD rear flow valve, on the rear differential that is bad, not the ABS! This is how to replace it after buying a new one. Put drain pan under rear differential, unhook connector, unscrew flow valve bolt and pull it out. Reverse order to install. You will need to refill with 4 pints of versatrak fluid (unscrew fill plug) because when you remove the flow valve, all the versatrak fluid comes out. You can only get versatrak fluid at any GM dealership. Do not reuse old nasty versatrak fluid because that is why it got plugged up in the first place. (ASEGM)

Interchangeable transmission with different make and model cars

Unless you have a LOT of experience modifying cars, you BETTER stick with the manufacturer model of transmission that was already on the car. Some older GM's you could swap out / upgrade transmissions for small-blocks (like replace the 200-metric with a 350-Turbo <HIGHLY RECOMMENDED>, or upgrade the 350 Turbo to a 400 Automatic <check to make sure your car make/model will have enough clearance to allow this>. Fords & Chryslers are not near as forgiving, however. For most of those automatics, stick with the original model type that came with the car. BUT DEFINITELY CANNOT CHANGE DIFFERENT MAKE + MODEL CARS' TRANSMISSIONS (they are NOT interchangable).

What car parts interchange with a 2002 Pontiac Aztec?

Aztec was derived from the line of GM minivans. Many mechanical parts are interchangeable with Pontiac Montana, Chevy Venture and Olds Silhouette of that vintage. Obviously the sheetmetal is, I would say, unique.

Can i hook up a 2200 1998 sunfire motor up to a 1995 sunfire that had a older 2.2 in it ?

Something is different on these engines. A salvage yard will have an interchange guide to tell you what will fit or you may call a gm dealer.
