Automatic transmisson control solenoid

I need to know the location of the automatic transmission control solenoid on a 1996 plymouth grand voyager 4 speed i was told to take off the trans pan and it would be right there n its not need help thanks doug

You need to remove the filter.(It's the bid flat metal piece that you see with 1 or 2 screws holding on)

Error codes 738


All I have for code 738 is "trans control module speed output circuit low" which means the data going to the trans control module needs to be checked.
You would probably need a scanner to watch the data flow from the transmission to find the problem

Help solve the problem, plymouth voyager 1996 1,2 and the rear speed switches to normal, and at 3 and 4, the speed is not switched


to me that sounds like the TCM ( transmission control module ) need to be replaced the location of that is under the hood at the top of the motor beside the driver side fender it looks like this

1998 plymouth voyager; when driving it sounds like racing in the indy 500, the vehiclle SOUNDS like its running at a high rate. But it is going a normal speed limit. dtc code is p0700; p1788; p0743. any...

P0700 = EATX Controller DTC Present

Discription= An automatic transmission input DTC has been set in the transmission controller.

P0743 =Torque Converter Clutch Soleniod/Trans Relay Circuits

Discription= An open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solenoid control circuit (3 speed auto RH trans. only).

For a 1996 plymouth voyager sm V6 3.0 liter transmission control module and where is it located at?

Where is the transmission solenoid located


The transmission solenoid pak is located on the side of the transmission -- when standing in front of your vehicle looking into the engine compartment -- look down to your right just after where the engine and transmission bolt together -- looks like a block about 6 inchs by 4 inchs with a wiring harness coming from it.
