Probably have to have it repaired/replaced, unless the linkage/hydraulics have a problem.

Is the cluch adjustable or do i replace the pad

if the clutch is slipping you have to replace the whole unit wether it be cable or hydraulic.but if the pedal is operating the clutch at a very high possition and its cable you can adjust it at the yoke end.

How do you adjust the cluch

The clutch is self adjusting, there is no adjustment,it is a fluid system. If it is slipping, replace the clutch .If it just will not let you put it in gear, then the slave cylinder,or brake master is bad.

Clutch pedal are adjustable. I don't know the proper proceedure for your particular car tho. Typically if you look underneath you should see where you can adjust them.

It feels as though the clutch pedal is much softer than it used to be and has to be depressed all the way to the floor to shift and it is more difficult to get into gear, particularly reverse.

try adjusting any free play in your cable connected to the clutch fork from the clutch peddle, there mite be an adjustment screw, nowadays its usually white plastick, take up any free play in the cable, failing this you mite need a clutch replacement.due to ware.
