Short to power. Could be as easy as just pulling a fuse and reinsert it. Sometimes you have to access the plug and do they same thing. Sometimes you have to fix or replace the plug. If your display is the radio, It could be internal radio problems..
Jeep radios are notorious for having display and channel issues. If your display is not operative, then your radio internally damaged and is not worth repairing. It is better to replace it at this point.
