try the fuel pressure regulator: if it's stuck open you'll never get the 45+psi at injectors that's required. if it's stuck open you'll need a new one, and when you need a new one, you're going to be encouraged to buy a new spider (one with proper injectors and not poppets). that's where i'm stuck, i can't really afford the $250....

check your timing if you have a distributor. loosen it up, and turn it different ways to try and adjust, if that doesn't help, have your timing checked. your belt may have slipped a tooth.
