While I was driving, my car lost power. I noticed that the check engine light is blinking. It also shakes but seems to go away as i start driving but the engine light no longer blinks but stays on

Suggest going to your nearest auto parts store and ask for a complementary read of your OBDII codes to help diagnose the problem.

Most parts supplier will scan and recommend the parts required for repair.

Even if the car is now operating well, record the error code reported, and they may reset the light. If the light reappears in the future and you get the same code you should follow throw with a repair.

These new systems do an amazing job of providing you with diagnosis info from the On Board Diagnostics (OBD) capability of the auto's computer.

Hope this helps?

I have a 2004 honda accord and it drives funny my d4 light in my dash board is blinking when i drive

A blinking D4 light on a honda is an indicator that the computer has determined there is a fault within the transmission. You would need a scanner to communicate with the pcm and read the fault codes.

Od light blinking

A blinking OD light on a Ford Explorer means that there has been a fault detected in the transmission operation, a common one is excessive slippage detected between input and output turbine shaft speed sensors, this can be a slipping trans, you may not even fell it, but it is indeed slipping, but lets not get ahead here, go to the Ford dealer and have a system trouble code scan run of the on board, this will reveal the trouble code that the blinking light has set in the computer control for the transmission and give direction to what the cause is. Check Engine Light is On

You did what thousands of people do they get a code and jump straight to replace a part no testing just guessing. code 43 is a fuel system problem code sure enough you absolutely need proffessional diagnostic help with this one you cannot go on another hondas code 43 because you can have two hondas exact same symptoms and even the color of the interior and have two completely different problems I realize it costs money to diagnose the problem but which is cheaper to pay diagnostic and only change the one bad thing or replace part after part then take it to be diagnosed and have them change one part?
Cmon Please do the right thing for your wallet honda is not a car for anyone but a professional to diagnose and fix.
