Question about 2001 Ford Focus
I have a 2001 Focus Zx3. The dashlights, parking lights and radio lights are not working. I've checked fuses and have no power to 47 and 48. I replaced the light switch and now am blowing fuse 32 (lightswitch fuse) every time I turn the light switch on. Needless to say, replacing the light switch did not fix the problem. Is there a relay I should be looking at? I'm confused.
Sounds like a short circuit here ? You will need to locate the short circuit . Most probable is the tail lamps and their connections , then number plate lights , then any hinged wiring going from body to a door or trunk (ie No plate illum lights) area . Sometimes the dash dimmer can be a problem . Good luck
