Did you buy this used? What are some of the codes?

Testimonial: "Yes from a dealer auction. Some solenoid in tranny pops up. Most are evap related like a evap canister"

    yes I did

I would check the wiring harness to the tranny. Also if you go to autozone website and make a free account and put in the vehicle info you can see the online repair guides for free or you can access alldata for a small fee.

SOURCE: 1999 Continental Shudder when shifting into third gear.

It will be one of 2 things. It is either the lock up torque converter or a coil pack miss-fire.
You can tell if it is the lock up torque converter by lightly applying brakes with your other foot during the concern. If it goes away then it is the lock up torque converter. If it hasn't been doing this for to long then servicing it and putting an additive in it usually corrects it. However it takes about 75 to 100 miles to do so. If that doesn't cure it you will have to replace the torque converter and depending on how it looks maybe the stator support and the TCC solenoid.
If it is a miss fire then it will probably show up under mode 6 data on a scan tool and replacing that spark plug and coil pack should remedy that.

Need to replace my clutch?? because the 1 & 2nd gear are not responding well??

then the clutch isnt the problem. the problem lies within the tranny, it has internal damage affecting 1st and ad 2nd gear. my best advise is for you to either replace it with a tranny from the junkyard or rebuild it

Sounds like a dirty of faulty speed sensor. They can be removed and cleaned. Better off replacing. Do check the wires to the speed sensor. Trace wires from tranny to instrument cluster and make sure they are all in tact and clean.

1988 TH400 won't shift correctly

You will need a good manual that is focused on the transmission and possibly someone to lean over your shoulder to help you. Clean workspace is imperative. These are rather easy as you are for the most part stacking parts back into the housing when reassembling it. I would say look for a yard trans to put in it meanwhile and then you can learn at your leisure.

2000 Chevy Metro New Clutch and now can't shift into 1st Gear

With ALL due respect, I speak from a 30 year Career of AUTO & Heavy Truck Experence of Fleet Management and Personal Customer Auto Care, and by NO means do I mean any Disrespect to you here.
As Long as is Does Not grind while UP SHIFTING you R fine , DOWNSHIFTING into 1st Gear BEFORE 20 mph is a Disaster Waiting to Happen EXAMPLE> Just BECAUSE a car CAN run at 120mph does not Mean One SHOULD do it. If it downshifted to 1st gear before 20 mph with OTHER Clutch that was due to WEAR, there MAY be a bit of AIR in the Release bearing or Slave cylinder, That needs to be BLED OUT, DOWNSHIFTING IS NOT A recommended Practice Unless its an EMERGENCY STOP condition, as It Causes Premature Wear on Clutch Disc. I Know this MAY seem UNTRUE as you may have done it for years But IN FACT A Clutch is MADE to Simply Get From LOWER GEAR TO HIGHER GEAR, but if you Downshift ALL of the time you WILL Subject the Clutch to TWICE the WEAR you Should THUS WEARING it OUT TWICE AS FAST $ thats $$$$. A good number of shops wont Advise you this Far as it Would REDUCE THERE Profit. I Hope I Have shed some Light on this delima, And Think of the MONEY you Can SAVE on TWICE the Longevity with 1 Clutch Job. Again I hope this Helps you, And If you FEEL that I Deserve A GOOD RATING Please do so ,as Most folks get there Answers and GO without Rating US LoL Thank You !
