Question about Cars & Trucks
When replacing the fuel filter muddy brown gunk came out. the car sounded fine after the fuel filter change but after a few miles the problem came back. Even when the throttle is pinned to the floor, the car will barely accelerate when there is the slightest incline.

You may also have issues with your air flow meter.Generaly though this symptom is usualy a fuel pressure problem. This test may or may not work depending on wether the fuel rail is the problem or the pump.Squeeze the fuel return line at the back of the fuel rail and if engine improves the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail may be faulty. If no improvement its likely the pump. The best and most accurate test would be to use an inline fuel pressure tester. Can you hear the pump pumping up to pressure when you turn the ignition on?Usualy though the pumps fail but can be heard running but unable to maintain pressure.

Could be a short in the wiring for the O2 sensor. I currently have the same issue only my car finally threw a code after two days of it acting up. Code 106. Changed the MAP sensor and it now throws 108, MAP sensor high voltage circuit. Ah the joys of cold weather and broke down vehicles. But I know that you wont always get a code with a short. Let me know if you fixed the problem.
