Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
Turn light used to work only sometimes , but now it doesn't work at all. what should replace? turn signal switch, hazard switch, or tun lights flasher. Any ideas please
I would start with the flasher, it's the easiest and cheapest and the most likely to fail.

SOURCE: Front right turn signal
You need to replace the whole socket. Unfortunately I was told by an auto wrecker that the daytime running lights on the front of the intrigue heat up the plastic in the black socket your bulb sits in and the plastic melts and prevents a proper contact with the bulb. I got a replacement socket and bulb for $15 at the auto wreckers. Money well spent - it is easy to replace! Your bulbs are probably not burnt out.

Check the the bulbs at the front and rear of the vehicle work. If one is not lit up, replace that one. On some of the earlier model cars the blinkers would stay solid and not flash when one or both bulbs were blown. Modern cars have a rapid flash when one or both are blown
