Question about Hyundai Cars & Trucks
The speakers are functioning, however with a number volume higher than 6 out of 30, the speakers begin to cut out, and will cut out repetedly until the radio is turned down. What is the problem?
Your speaker cones are damaged or you are using the wrong speakers fore your amp, they are overloading and distorting

My van radio runs on 2 different fuses- both in the fuse box under the dash. One runs the lights the other the sound. Hope this helps.

first> road vibrations can cause cable connections to come loose so you can start by taking out your radio and making sure all of the questions in the back are connected as they should be.
Second> if this doesnt seem to work then the next step is to check the wires going to the speakers that arnt working (this will b quite a job, but if you can do it, it will save u quite a bit of money) .. checking the wires your checking for >bad connection to the speakers >cuts in the wire or if any part of the wire is touchin any other metal object

there is a plug at the back of the radio connecting it to the vehicle wiring loom. If you can get at thes plug, either from below or by removing the radio unit, make sure the plug is tight and secure. I can't think that the amp has gone or you would have lost all sound, so this is more than likely the problem.
