engine power problems , hot or cold engine or both?

bad fuel:
bad fuel pressure. (low)
clogged injectors, try TECHRON ! (I dont like additives but this works and is safe to engine and CAT.)

does the bog, last for ever at WOT, or does it recover. soon.

I have 4age silver top in my ae92 corolla wagon. my fuel consumption is far from the others that i know. mine can only do 5km/liter, the others can go for 9-11km/liter. why?

try unhooking the battery positive cable for about 20 mins. and let the computer relearn your way of driving.
alot of times this will work for better mpg's

Where is the carbuerator on a 1993 toyota corolla?

if the engine is a 2E type, then it will have a carb directly under the aircleaner on top of the engine.there a 2 types of carb basically on this model, one is conventional type venturi, the other has a bell shaped body lying sideways. If the model is an FE or AG type engine, then it is fuel injected,no carburettor, the aircleaner will be off to one side of engine, connected by a long air duct.check engine/model ID plate usually on the rear firewall for engine code.eg:1E,2E,3AFE,4AGE etc

Wanna change the engine in my ae92 corolla.

There are many different types of 4a engines including 4a 4af 4age 4agze but the 5a is a 1.5 8v engine the 4a is a 1.6 usually a 16v. a 4age is a 1.6 16v gti engine that produces 129bhp depending on year later models had a little more. both engines are fuel injected and were produced for roughly the same period of time. from my experience a 4age goes on for ever. hope this helps
