SOURCE: running on lpg then stop

check that your cooling system if full of coolant. the coolant that keeps the engine cool actually keeps the gas converter from freezing. alternatively is it hard to start of a morning when cold, if so could be butane wax build up from the gas, in the convertor.

SOURCE: LPG probs

How close to the exhaust is the supply line as the lpg supply line should be cold until it gets into the regulator not warm.Is the supply line heat shielded as it enters the engine bay or getting a full dose of exhaust heat?Is it the vapor injection gas system or the old style. What regulator and system are you using?OMVL ?sprint gas or other cheaper variants? It really sounds like a fuel delivery issue as you are not getting the volume of gas required at higher speeds.Commodore engines have issues with thier water system having air bubbles that cause air locks in the regulators by the time youve jumped out of the car to check for freezing it appears to be fine. You may have restrictions in the lpgas filters/locks.The water hoses,2,should be hot so hot you cannot leave your hand on them and if not freezing of the reg once again becomes the issue. Also the water hoses must be fitted in such a way that the top hose is suction and the bottom hose forces water into the reg, this is done to assist in eliminating potential air lock problems. To sum up your symptoms are consistant with poor water ciculation.

I switched from gas to petrol the engine backfired and is now running eratically, runs ok when on gas ????

Petrol? Are you referring to diesel?

If so, I’m surprised it runs at all. Drain the fuel system and use only gas.

Holden statesdman 1994 VR It is on PETROL AND GAS will start on petrol but keeps stalling when switched over to gas is good

I assume this is dual fuel.... LPG and gasoline??????? Is cooling system full? If so, probably plugged filter on LPG convertor. If you are not knowledgeable with LPG, get someone who is. LPG is highly explosive.

My 99 ford falcon au (gas/petrol) seems to have a problem evey couple of hours i have to refill the coolant but there are no leaks whats so ever can you help

Well the water is definitely going somewhere :/ the best thing you can do is check if your cooling system can hold pressure using a pressure tester gauge, there may be an issue with the head gasket too as I had same model (not gas but) and had to replace n shave the head n gasket hope not for ya but...! also check if overflow bottle doesnt have any leaks some times these can be overlooked :)
Good luck

Hi the other day i started the toyota up after finishing work it backfired now it wont run on lpg. It runs on petrol but wont on LPG any ideas would be great.

the fact that it runs on fuel means that the electronics of the vehicle are all operational. The problem is the fuel selection process for he LPG. The converter for the lpg is prone to corrosion and failures internally so I would suggest that you have an accredited Auito gas specialist look at the gas system

Why is my LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER 4.0SE AUTO PETROL/ LPG GAS

Because a previous owner (or the dealer) wanted the lower cost of running on LPG using a dual fuel system so petrol (gasoline) could be used too. If the work was done professionally it provides the best of both but the downside is the reduction of usable space in the load space. You will find more about this in the "articles" page at http://www.graemecooper.com.au

Car runs OK cold but when warm it seems **** it is running on 3 cylinders. I have taken it to a shop and they cannot tell me what is wrong

Is it Diesel (turbo/non-turbo) or petrol? If its petrol then get the ignition system checked, for diesel it looks like problem with fuel pump.
