Radiator plugs are on the backside of the radiator.  sometimes you need to remove some covers to get to it.  also it may be easier to simply remove the bottom hose to drain the coolant.
When you receive advice from this website you have to understand that without the item in front of us, we are only able to provide "a best guess" as to what the problem might be based on you description of the defect.  If you haven't described a clear and precise description of the defect you decrease the chances of an accurate reply.  Thank you.

Where is the 2002 olds bravada thermostate located? If the thermostate goes out does it affect other gauges?

The thermostat housing is where the top radiator hose connects to the engine. It may have a coolant temp sensor in it as well, it has a wire plugged into it. Replace them both.

Where is the drain plug for the radiator on a 2000 olds bravada

It will be on the bottom of the radiator if it has one. If you do not find one simply remove the lower radiator hose to drain the antifreeze out.

Is not heating

  • Raise and fully support the hood on the ford Remove the radiator cap and place a coolant drain pan underneath the radiator.
  • Open the drain-**** on the radiator and completely drain all of the coolant from it. It should take 10 minutes to fully drain. After this time close the drain-**** securely.
  • Locate the thermostat housing on the side of the engine below the alternator. It's not necessary to remove the hose from the thermostat housing. You can access the thermostat easily once the housing unbolted.
  • Slide your coolant drain pan directly beneath the thermostat housing. This way any coolant that comes out of the housing will go into the drain pan and not on the ground.
  • Remove the two bolts holding the heater core housing to the engine with a socket wrench. Pull the housing away from the engine and take out the thermostat.

  • Install the new thermostat just as you removed the old thermostat. Your new thermostat should have a rubber seal already installed on it, if not you have the wrong replacement part.
  • Position the thermostat housing back into its original location and then return both of its bolts by hand to insure they thread correctly. Set your 1/4-inch drive torque wrench to 89 inch-lbs. and completely secure both bolts in place.
  • Refill the radiator with fresh coolant or with the coolant from the drain pan if it's less than three years old. Return the radiator cap and then start the engine on the Bravada. Check for leaks every five minutes until the engine reaches normal operating condition. Take the truck for a test drive once you've determined there aren't any leaks present.

Draining cooling system 2001 olds bravada

There is a drain plug on the radiator on the divers side, inside at the bottom. Note: most of the time when the plug is removed the O-ring get's damaged and needs to be replaced since it sticks to the radiator. Most of the time it's quicker and easier to disconnect the lower radiator hose on the passenger side and let it drain there. Most of the newer radiator don't even have a drain plug and if you want a drain plug, you'll have to drill a hole where the drain plug should be and place one there. The drain plug is around $4.99 at most Auto Parts store. Good luck and hope this helps.

Is there a coolant bleeder valve on a 1997 olds bravada?

If you want to put coolant in and you have air in the system.
    1. Look for a flat plug on one of the upper coolant pipes unbolt and fill at that point.
    2. You can also take hose of radiator and fill that way if you can't find the plug.

(If your looking to drain the radiator should have a drain at the bottom of the radiator on left or right side.)
