P0010 code

P0010 on a Hyundai means your camshaft positioning oil control valve solenoid is screwed up. Could be the wiring to that, as well. Check the wiring first, if any loose connectors, clean and reseat and see if code stays cleared. If not, the solenoid needs replacing. The VVT (variable valve timing) system on this engine has been troublesome, and Hyundais in general are troublesome. People only buy them because they're cheap and disposable. There are cases where a P0010 is indicated a faulty ECM...big bucks.

Where is located thecam sensor on a jetta 1.8L

A P0010 code refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car's PCM (powertrain control module). That consists of an oil control valve (OCV), also called a solenoid valve and other components. Basically the check engine light and associated P0010 trouble code means that the voltage in the circuit has fallen below a set limit for a specific amount of time (varies by make/model/engine).

Carefully inspect the Bank 1 VVT/VCT system circuit wiring and connectors, repair as required
With a warm engine, test the operation of the OCV, replace/repair as needed.

I HAVE p0010 code Problem.CAMSHAFT POSITION ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

P0010 - "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)

A P0010 code refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car's PCM (powertrain control module). That consists of an oil control valve (OCV), also called a solenoid valve and other components. Basically the check engine light and associated P0010 trouble code means that the voltage in the circuit has fallen below a set limit for a specific amount of time (varies by make/model/engine).

Symptoms may include:
* Check Engine Light illuminated (Malfunction Indicator Lamp)
* Rough running
* other symptoms may also be present

Causes: A code P0010 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* Faulty oil control valve (OCV)
* Open or short in the VVT/VCT circuit
* Open or short in the OCV / solenoid valve
* Damaged computer (PCM)

Possible Solutions: Some recommended troubleshooting and repair steps are:
* Carefully inspect the Bank 1 VVT/VCT system circuit wiring and connectors, repair as required
* With a warm engine, test the operation of the OCV, replace/repair as needed

Hope this helps to solve it (remember to rate this answer).

OBD MIL STATUS RESULT FAIL STATE INSPECTION CODE P0741 P1860

Po1860 will cause a false p0741. The diagnostics for p0741 requires that
po1860 is not a current code.

Po1860 is the Torque Converter Clutch circuit.
It means that the converter isn't locking up. Your mileage will suffer, but running without the converter locked will cause excessive heat and eventually will kill the transmission...that would be what i'd be most worried about...
there could be a number of reasons for this...could be as simple as the tcc solenoid, or as complex as the converter itself failing...which would mean you'd have to drop the cradle and seperate motor and trans to replace the converter...
