sorry to tell you this but it sounds like the wheel bearing was put in backwards on one or both sides. the front wheel bearings have a black speed ring built in and that is what your speed sensor reads off. - this is common as the front bearings will install either way- hope this helps

I have a 1999 Honda civic es. The car runs fine until it gets hot outside then when you turn it off it doesn't want to start until it has sat for about a half hour

run the fault codes when it is hot and check for faulty ambient ait temp sensor/ MAF/VAF sensors
could be overheating electronics in the ignition control module/coils

Ambient air temp is readying high on my 2007 Ford F150, possible causes?

Usually it is the temp probe on the radiator support behind the grille.
When you pop the hood there are 2 probes there, 1 in the ambient air temp probe, the other is the front impact severity sensor. temp probe has the little probe sticking out of it. I have seen mixed results on replacing this, some it corrects the issues, others are still not happy after the replacement. I make the assumption ( bad thing some times ) that the ones that are unhappy are using an incorrect comparison temp sensor ( bank sign, etc ).

I own a 88 civic with 450,000 miles on it. I've done everything you can do to it. the civic doesn't have a oil temp sensor, however it does have a pressure sensor on the back of the motor near the oil filter.
