SOURCE: A/C blows warm air

Have your a/c tech look at the pressures at an idle. It sounds like the condensing coil does'nt have enough airflow or the compressor is week. Another possible problem could be that the temp control door is'nt operating properly. Hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: 2004 toyota sienna a/c not working one side cold other side warm

there are two a/c lines that run down the fire wall under the van to the rear.right around the bottom of the fire wall the is a connection point on both lines. you will find a leak there .replace the orings and recharge system. also you will need two specail toyota tools to release the couplings.i have done this repair on several sienna's. let me know if this helps.

Most ductwork doors are controlled with actuator motors that open or close flap doors. These doors change the amount of heated air that enters the system as well as where it goes such as the floor or defrost. There are probably 6-8 of them on the system. My guess is that one of these actuator motors is not working due to its age.

sounds like the drain is not draining water, park the vehicle on a flat surface when it starts blowing warm air, then check to see if water is coming out, on most vehicles it is on the passenger-side(on others driver), if not the park on a downwards slope, if it is/is not draining then you will need to unclog the drain with a stiff wire or pipe cleaner. hope this helps Tim

I think you are right. The core may be restricted or leaking refridgerant. The moisture could be condensation on the evaporator that is building up inside because of a plugged or broken drain hose. (the water you see on the ground under a car when the A/C is running might be dripping inside the cabin)

While engine running, does the air feel warm to hot blowing through the radiator, if it does water is circulading, if it feels cold, replace thermostat.

Every time we put the A/C on it leaks into the passenger side floor leaving o big puddle of water, plus now the deforst wont work unless the air is on, how do i fix this..

As far as the water, it is probably the drain tube coming off the Evaporater housing that is clogged and backing up into the car. If you can get under the right side by the friewall you will see a black rubber hose. Most of the time you can just get something and clean it out a bit and you will see a bunch of water come draining out on the ground. When you see all the water drain then you know you have cleared the drain tube. As far as the defrost, it is strange but some cars defrost work better with cold and some work better with warm. I think it has alot to do with outside temp ad to what will clear the window faster. i know if it is hot outside....you almost always need cold air to clear it and cold then hot will work.
Hope this helps

Hi. Have your car aircon evaporator cleaned. Check also the drain hose. All water should go out of the car through the drain hose. There might be something clogging up the hose that is why water will run out the floor and that causes also the aircon to work intermittently.

Have a good one!

You may have an air pocket in your system which some times happens.  One way to get rid of it is to take the upper hose off on the engine side,  fill your system with water until it runs out from your engine block, replace the hose, start your car turn you heater on and set to hi keep the radiator cap loose until the temp start to rise then close tight.  Once the air pocket had been remover you can drain some of the water from the radiator using the lower drain plug and add antifreeze.

Get a female garden hose adapter from the local hardware store. Disconnect the heater hose from behind the fan pulley and attach the hose connection. Disconnect the other heater hose behind the alternator, aim it towards the ground and flush water through the heater core. This worked on my truck.
