Question about 1996 Ford Crown Victoria
Need to know how to remove starter from a 1996 crown victoria police intereceptor
The starter is located at the rear of the engine I believe on the passenger side bolted into the bell housing. First you need to remove the cables from the starter. Make sure you remember where they go so you can connect the new starter correctly. Make a picture or do like I do and take a photo to refer back to if you get lost. Next there are large blots securing the starter to the bell housing that need to be removed. Take out the bottom one first than the top. With all the above done the starter will drop out.
