SOURCE: I have a 2007 ford freestyle and had a diagnostic run and the code p014b came up amd the dealer said tgey have never seen that code. So what does it mean

Scary when the dealer doesn't know.
Code P0014 means there is a problem with the cam timing for either cam B on bank one, or the cam on bank two. It depends on which engine you have.
Bank one is the cylinder head with cylinder one, and bank two is the other head.
You would need to look up the code in a shop manual to know for sure which cam is involved and get the test procedure.
The cam sensor involved is telling the engine computer the cam is not in the place it should be regarding valve timing.

I have a 2007 ford freestyle error code p0340 bought a new camshaft position sensor, i just dont know were it is located on the engine and how I would need to get to it, what i would have to move and

OBD Codes do not mean you replace parts that sound
like the name of a code

You use the codes to diagnose the system that set the fault
code & component test to find a problem

Your buying parts, when you don't know how they work
or where they even are on the motor & do not plan on
doing any testing, to find a problem, to see if a part has failed

Best you let a professional find a problem for you.

The internet is filled with pictures & video, on anything you
need to know,if you use Google correctly

Need to know location of factory reset code for keyless entry 2007 ford freestyle

You don't have to pay a dealer anything

You do have to go there to get the factory
code, then you can change to whatever you want,
if you have an owners manual or they write it down
for you

Not a reset code,just a security code
