You should check your leads. if they are silicone a slight bend can break them and you will have a very weak spark. Also check the gap on the spark plugs, if the gap is too small there wont be a very good spark. If those are all ok check the coil pack(s), they may need replacing.

Check your ignition coil. Could be the cause. Also check crank and camshaft sensors with a scope to see if you have a uniform pulses. I hope it helps.

6.5 briggs and stratton wont start spark problem

Have you cleaned or replaced the plug recently?

Sometimes, during cleaning, you can damage a plug's resistor. If you replaced it, did you do so with a copper plug? I recommend copper, as it is a better electricity conductor than platinum or gold.

Starter wont turn flywheel

starter motor weak. weak battery or engine is seized. take the spark plugs out and turn engine over with spanner on the bottom bolt on the pulley. if thats fine and move the engine freely then check the battery try a jump off a good battery. if not good and still will not start with the spark plugs back in then the starter motor is weak and needs changing. can do any of these in any order you like.

Wont start turns over but wont start

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

The car is a 1999 plymouth neon the spark coming out of the plug is weak and yellow engine will turn over but wont start it is getting enough fuel and replaced the plugs

check the spark output at the coil. If there is still weak spark than make sure there is 12 volts to the coil. If there is than the coil is probably bad.

Also make sure the engine is turning over properly. If the battery is low or the starter is drawing to many amps than there may not be enough power left over to deliver enough spark from the coil.

My van just died 1 day after work. it's getting spark and fuel but wont start. i already replaced the crank sensor and it still wont start. please help me?!!!!!!!!!!

the first thing is check your fuel pressure for the right psi. some vehicles will not start if the pressure is off only by a couple psi. your particular van is epuipped with a injector module assembly under the upper intake manifold. commonly called a injector spider. those are notorious for leaking and will keep a vehicle from starting. also while your checking your spark how did you do it? if the spark was any color but blue it is too weak of a spark and the vehicle will not start with that. this could be worn plugs, wires or weak coil.

Have a 1985 buick centruy with a 2.5 seems like its loading up with to much fuel wont start.I have spark timing is good, compression good, and changed the temp sensor. tried a different maf sensor(used)...

If you have spark, and the timing is good, you are either not getting enough fuel or there is not enough compression. If you checked the spark from the spark plug wires and got a spark, try changing the spark plugs. The spark from the plugs may be too weak to ignite the fuel.

Have you changed your fuel filter? This is a very common cause of a no start condition. Have your fuel pressure tested to ensure you are getting the correct amount of fuel. Also, you could try replacing your Fuel Pressure Regulator.

96 nissan 200sx started and ran rough for 10 sec then died and wont restart. distributor is turning. no fault codes. has good fuel pressure. spark looked weak so i changed cap and rotor. still wont start....

something to ponder over here as iam not sure what could be the problem here but if its a weak spark then it could be module /coil/crank sensor in that order .These problems will not show up as fault codes i dont think as they are working but not to full efficiency
