The best i can say is check to be sure the distributor is turning.I am assuming that when you say you replaced the distributor that indeed you replaced the entire thing.(not just cap) Take cap off turn engine over and have someone watch to be sure rotor is turning. IF you haven't already check for voltage (12) going to coil .

No miss in engine wont crank after running for a while. no lights come on replaced coil what else could it be?

What engine ? 3.1 , 3.4 , 3.8 L When it dies check for spark at coil pack . Pull the two plug wires off of the same coil and crank it over , is there spark ? If not , could be the ignition control module , or crankshaft position sensor . Videos on youtube !

1997 Mercury cougar won't start after it rains. Engine turnover but won't start

When moisture gets inside something it shorts it out . Take a spray bottle an spray ignition coils an see if it dies . For that matter spray the whole engine , fuse box etc... If it dies see what's missing , spark more then likely . Do you know how to do that ? Pull a plug wire off the coils an hold it near the coil tower an see if spark jumps the gap . What engine does yours have ? V-8 V-6

Replaced coil pack on 3800 pontiac bonneville and its still missing what now?

First you need to determine what type of miss you have. Is it random on all cylinders, or is it restricted to one or two cylinders? Random misfire can be caused by crank or cam sensors that are starting to give out. Single cylinder misfires can be due to plugs, wires, coils (you already addressed those), as well as internal issues such as burnt or broken valves.

TURNING OVER BUT WONT START REPLACED COIL PACK, FUELPUMP, FUEL FILTER, PLUGS AND WIRES. CANT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM

Have you checked the injector wiring? Each has only 2 wires you can check. If no power, test the injector power control module.

Engine missing on occasion when accelerating.

missing on occasion? you changed the plugs? was it missing before are after you changed the plugs? Missing is usually caused by a spark failing to jump across the spark plug gap.i would first look for a broken spark plug insulator. Secondly, bad spark plug wires ( if you re-used them the connector might have pulled off the wire internally) also look at the coil and distributor for cracks or other problems if the plugs and wires check out ok .
